2022 :: An Andover MA Photographer’s Year In Review
This was quite the year for me and for my Andover MA photography studio! It saw things as close to “normal” as they have been in a few years. I still had more sessions outdoors than I had in the pre-2020 world. But more and more clients felt comfortable coming back into my studio, something that makes me so happy to see! We made it through all of the seasons–including the holidays full of mini sessions. My tree farm mini sessions were a hit, as were the outdoor Easter sessions including live bunnies! Santa Claus made his annual stop at my studio for some photos with kiddos young and old. All in all, it was a successful year full of baby, child, and family portraits. As far as the blog goes, I started a new series this year: round ups! It’s something that I have thought about in the past but never sat down and put together until this year. And it is something that I definitely plan on doing from here out. Every month I highlight a different milestone or session type (from newborn, through the first year, and beyond) and compile all of the sessions that have been featured on the blog recently. This way anyone looking for inspiration can find all of the sessions easily in one place. Not to mention, it’s tons of fun to look back on the past sessions this way!
So what am I rounding up this month? Why, a round up of round-ups, of course! Below are all of the round-up posts, and a selection of other blog posts I refer to as “content” posts–highlighting types of sessions, themes of sessions, behind the scene details, anything other than straight up session posts. Other Non-Session Content Posts Year in Review
When it comes to this photographer’s 2022 year in review, there are so many different topics to discuss. And some topics are just worth talking about a little more! Below each photo is a link to a special content blog post. We started off the year with a post all about common excuses why families don’t want family portraits, and the reasons we think they’re great! I ended the year with a post all about annual family photos and how much I adore getting to see “my” families again and again year after year.
I talked about those families that come back to me with each additional child welcomed into the family. And I talked about how best to pose three or more children.
To help parents prepare, I wrote out a “what to expect” guide to Santa Claus photos. I urged parents to celebrate the season with some winter themed photo sessions. And even put a spotlight on outdoor photos in the winter!
And last but not least, we got down to business talking about prints and products! Both the regular prints and products, but also the Christmas and holiday options.
