Newborn photography is one of my greatest passions. I love getting the chance to help families celebrate their new arrival. There is so much to be happy about and in awe of. I think it’s safe to say that newborn portrait sessions are one of the most popular sessions for me. Which is why these sessions are featured so often on my blog! Today’s post is a newborn photo round up of all the baby girls on my blog recently. I hope you enjoy!

Neutral Newborn Baby Girl Photos

More and more often over the last few years I have been seeing parents go a more neutral route for their baby girls. In the past, neutrals were way more common for baby boys. But now it’s not at all rare to see whites and grays as the primary focus for baby girls! If you prefer neutrals, there are so many options. And don’t worry, we can still work in some color. I love the little pop of color a headband can give!

Sticking with neutrals also does not mean lacking variety. Monochromatic looks can still have a ton of variety thanks to different textures. And neutral also doesn’t have to mean monochromatic. There are so many wonderful neutral shades to choose from. Tans, beiges, grays, creams. A whole rainbow of neutral!

I love the slight pop of color the headband adds from this Boston Infant Photos session!

This family newborn photo session was all about whites and neutrals!

I love this simple all black family portrait from this Brighton newborn session.

Neutrals doesn’t necessarily HAVE to mean all whites and beiges. This deep purple/brown from a Reading Newborn session is a great option.

This Boxford Newborn session had the lightest little touches of color in an otherwise neutral palette.

IVF baby newborn photos — This was an extra special IVF Baby Newborn Session. The little red heart and rainbow headband are pops of color and so meaningful.

The daintiest little rose headband for this North Reading Newborn Photography session.

tewksbury newborn pictures — These Tewksbury Newborn Pictures were all about whimsy and simplicity.

Bedford newborn photos — Worried that neutrals will mean not interesting? Think again! Neutrals like we used in these Bedford Newborn Photos can be just as intricate as colors.

lexington newborn photographer — Can’t decide between color and neutral? The way that the pink is used in these Lexington Newborn Photos is a perfect compromise.

wakefield newborn photos — Tiny pops of green are the perfect accompaniment to whites and neutrals. These Wakefield newborn photos are a great example.

Colorful Newborn Girl Photos

Neutral not your style? Then I’ve definitely got you covered! In my studio I have a huge assortment of wraps, accessories, and props. And many of them come in a variety of colors. I quite literally have an entire rainbow to choose from inside of my studio. Pinks and purples are definitely the most popular for baby girls. But I am always so happy when clients choose blues, aquas, yellows, or any other shade for their session. And the great thing is, you don’t really have to choose just one. During newborn sessions we can easily switch between different sets or “outfits” for your baby girl.

No matter what color your heart desires for newborn photos, chances are I have something in my studio that will work. But parents are always welcome to bring swaddles, wraps, blankets, accessories, and more to their newborn session.
