Miss A and her family came from nearby Lawrence MA for her newborn photos. This included her 6 year old big bro. I love when older siblings are able to come along for newborn photos. The sibling portraits are always some of my favorites. And I know that the whole family will love having these photos of Miss A and her big bro. Talk about the perfect keepsake!

Props and Accessories in Newborn Portraits
I love props. And accessories. And I have a giant assortment in my studio. A vast majority of them are definitely geared towards newborn photos. Especially when it comes to the props for babies to be inside or on top of during portraits. In this session there are a few of my favorite options for newborn pictures. The pink bucket is definitely one that I love. Mostly because it seems strange when I tell parents “I have an adorable pink bucket to use in your newborn photos”. But then as soon as someone sees it they get what I mean–it truly is adorable! Other options include a teeny tiny cream colored bed that Miss A looks right at home sleeping on. The tiny woven basket is another one that I absolutely love. It’s simple but also stunning. Different colored knit blankets and faux furs are the perfect addition to any of these props.
