Miss S’s Family Newborn Photo Session :: Boston Photographer
I recently featured this sweet family on the blog for mama’s outdoor maternity session. I got to see them again, in the studio this time, when Miss S joined the family. This family newborn photo session is one that I absolutely love. Miss S was welcomed into her family by mom and dad, and by big brother and big sister. I love that this family wanted to include the big siblings so heavily in both the maternity session and the newborn session. Whenever families mention older siblings in their questionnaires or emails before a session, I always encourage them to bring them along. For one thing, it definitely helps to grow excitement for the older siblings. But also these photos make such gorgeous keepsakes. I especially love the black and white sibling photo below!
Since this session was in 2020, this family wanted an extra little keepsake to remember the year. Which is why everyone masked up for one shot! This family was definitely not the only one I had in the studio that year who chose to take a photo with masks. It’s so interesting to look back on now!
