Miss H’s Newborn and Family Pictures :: Wilmington MA Photographer
Sweet little Miss H came from Wilmington for her newborn and family pictures. I love that there was such a focus on not only family photos, but specifically sibling photos during this session. Big sister was 6 which meant I could do one of my all-time favorite sibling poses. Big sis sitting on the floor, legs bent with feet flat, and baby sister cradled in her arms. This is a pose that definitely requires an older sibling who is past the toddler stage. But every time I am able to include it, I adore it. We also let Miss B snuggle her new baby bestie on a gray fur. And we let Miss H get some kisses from sis while she relaxed in a sweet little basket.
As far as color scheme went with this Wilmington newborn family session, it was all about keeping it soft and feminine. But I love that this family wasn’t afraid to include some more dramatic, darker tones. The dark gray really lets the pink and white pop against it. Miss H was born around Valentine’s Day so mom wanted to include a little something for that. I love these little pink and red felt hearts. They are such a simple prop but definitely gets the point across! They add just the right touch of Valentine’s Day for a newborn session.
