Miss S’s Newborn Photoshoot Andover :: Newborn Photo Ideas for Girls

This newborn photoshoot is the perfect inspiration for parents of baby girls. If I had to use one word to describe this session, it would be whimsical. It was all about shades of white, pink, and purple. Dainty little angel wings, butterfly props, and the sweetest little princess bed added the perfect touches. Miss S brought along her big brother who popped in for a few photos. For the most part this session was all about Miss S. Having the focus be on her meant I was able to do lots of my favorite poses. I was also able to switch up the props and accessories to get a ton of variety for this family.

When it comes to newborn photoshoots, there are so many different options. I really strive to make the session work best for each individual family. Some families love family photos, while others prefer to focus on the newborn. And there is no wrong or right choice!

Preparing for Photoshoots

Before any session I send out a questionnaire to help get a good idea of what to expect during the session. This helps make sure I know what to expect, but also so that parents who have never had a newborn photoshoot can get more of an idea of what will happen. It’s also a great way for parents to think about what exactly they want. It includes poses, must have photos, as well as colors and styling aesthetics.
