Miss V’s Valentine’s Day Inspired Newborn Photos :: Brockton MA Photographer
When this sweet family welcomed baby number four right around Valentine’s Day, including the holiday in her newborn photos was a no brainer. I had previously photographed this family of 6 a few times over the years. Including now 5 year old big brother Mr. K for his newborn photos. I was so happy to help this family welcome their newest arrival. Mom said in her questionnaire that she wanted these photos to capture this newborn phase, and that is exactly what we did! We took some family portraits and some truly adorable shots of all 4 kiddos. But then it was all about the little princess and her perfectly girly newborn photos. You can see this family back when they just had the two boys, Mr. J and Mr. K here: Child Photographer Massachusetts.

Props and Themes for Newborn Portraits
If there are two things I love, it’s props and themes. Newborn baby props are one of my absolute love languages. I have SO many in my studio and my collection is always growing. For Miss V’s newborn photos I included some of my all time faves. Starting off with this adorable vintage inspired wooden bed. It’s so sweet and dainty, and is perfect for families looking for extra feminine vibes. I’ve included this in a few newborn sessions inspired by Disney princesses, which it is also perfect for. For sibling photos Miss V was nestled safely and cozily inside a little woven basket. This has become another one of my go-to options for newborns. It’s a great fit for so many different aesthetics and styles.
But perhaps my favorite from this session? The heart bowl! This was perfect for including a little Valentine’s Day theme in these newborn photos. Some little red and pink felt hearts sprinkled around and clutched in Miss V’s hand added an extra special touch. The rose headband really was the cherry on top. I love including themes in more subtle ways like this. It’s a perfect way to include a special touch while still being able to keep the session as a whole cohesive!
