Andover Baby Photos:: 6 Month Old Miss L

This sweet Andover family came to my studio for Miss L’s 6 month old baby photos. It was wonderful to see this family and baby girl again after their newborn session. This little lady made for a perfect little princess. And I still cannot believe how smiley she was! This is definitely something that makes the 6 month sitter sessions so special–so many bright smiles!

This six month old baby session is what we refer to as a sitter session. Sitter sessions typically happen between 5-8 months when baby is sitting comfortably on their own. I love these sessions so much, I even wrote a blog all about them! You can read that here: What is a Sitter Session?

About this 6 Month Baby Photos Session

Not only was Miss L a great model on her own, but she was so happy in all of the family portraits. She got lots of love from both mom and dad, but she was clearly the star of the show. This whole session was full of personal touches, something I love. From the quilt and knit blankets she sat on, to her necklace on display, there were personal touches everywhere. Mom and dad brought a lot of these beautiful pieces, as they had for her newborn session as well.

Miss L’s session is a great example of how sweet sitter sessions can be. Her adorable smile and personality seriously shine in every portrait. These sessions are also a great time to add all the personal touches, like this family chose to do. Plus, they’re the perfect time to have your little one wearing beautiful dresses like the ones Miss L is wearing. During newborn sessions, baby is typically either swaddled or naked. But at 6 months, bring on the adorable clothing! I’m really loving Jamie Kay and Bella Bliss for adorable clothing.
