Middleton MA Fall Family Portraits
I met up with this sweet family from Middleton MA for their outdoor fall family photos last fall. Their son was 7 months during this session. I had previously met them when he was about 11 weeks old. And I saw them again after this session for his one year photos. He was such a happy baby and I still can’t get over those cheeks!
For this session, mom and dad not only wanted some family portraits, but they also wanted some solo portraits of their little man. Seven month portraits are what we call a “sitter session”. These sessions are between 6-9 months when little ones are sitting on their own (hence the name!). This is such a fun age because for one thing they sit on their own, which is an important milestone. But also at this point, baby’s personality is becoming clear, and shines through in these portraits. Plus, my assistant and I get to be funny and goofy and make him smile. Mr. L has such a great smile, too!
I was also able to get some baby photos of Mr. L inside their home in Middleton. We included the Santa hat, diaper cover, and booties since Christmas was right around the corner. Fall is the perfect time for holiday card photos.
Styling for this Fall Family Portrait Session
For these Middleton fall family portraits, the colors were kept classic. Mom’s flowy white top and brown riding boots are absolutely perfect for fall. She looks classic and comfortable, and her white top really stands out against the background. Dad’s blue shirt is a fantastic pop of color. And Mr. L’s gray and blue sweater ties it all together while also adding some texture and coziness. As far as styling for fall family portraits goes, this is a great example. Creating A Wall Gallery At Home
I don’t know about you, but I love the look of a wall gallery. And they’re definitely becoming more popular. If you scroll through Instagram or Pinterest, chances are you will see some beautiful wall galleries. So many people tell me they love the way they look, they just don’t know where to begin. Well, I’m here to help! Whether you like the look of canvases, framed artwork, or a mix of both. Send me a photo of the wall you’re looking to use (with a piece of printer paper taped to it so that I can get an idea of the sizing), and I’ll get started. I will digitally add the photos from your session to your walls so that you can see what sizes and products work best on your wall.
