Newborn Photo Styling Using Purple :: Andover MA Photographer
When it comes to newborn portraits, pink has been the go to option for girls for ages. But more and more over the years I see parents choosing to go a different route. One of the most popular options for styling newborn photos is using purple. And purple is such a fantastic choice for parents who aren’t huge fans of pink. Or just for parents who are looking to keep some color in their session but want something a little different. And since there are so many fantastic shades of purple, there is something for everyone. Maybe you prefer a light, pastel lilac shade. Or maybe the deeper jewel tones are your style. No matter what you like, there is a fantastic shade of violet.
Another great thing about choosing a color like purple for styling your newborn photos is that there are so many different ways to incorporate the color. There are soft swaddles in just about every shade. Or chunky knit blankets. Or perhaps you prefer to add the pop of color in the form of a headband or other accessory. There are even purple floral options for props. And while currently we think of purple as a pretty, feminine, soft option. Once upon a time it was the color associated with royalty. Making it the perfect option for your little princess.
