Mr. T’s Doggie Themed Cake Smash Photo Session near North Andover
Mr. T and his family came to my studio from nearby North Andover for his one year and cake smash photo session. Not only did Mr. T bring along his mom and dad for the fun. But he also brought along his pal Blue, the family’s pet Australian Shepherd. Mom had told me in her pre-session questionnaire that T loves his dog Blue, and that was the inspiration for both his first birthday party, and this cake smash session.
We started out with family photos, as we tend to before we get to the cake smash portion of the session. These family photos were something mom mentioned really wanting in the pre-session questionnaire. She said “My husbands hobby is photography so we haven’t had any professional photos taken especially as a family.” This is something I hear from parents all the time. These days it is so easy to take photos, whether it’s on an iPhone or with a camera at home. The problem with that is that there’s always a parent missing from the photos!
Choosing A Theme For First Birthday Photos

I love that this session has a clearly thought out theme, while still being simple and classic.
