Charlestown Newborn Portraits With Grandparents

Baby P’s Newborn Portraits with His Grandparents from Charlestown MA

charlestown newborn portraits

Baby P came to our Andover studio from nearby Charlestown MA for his newborn portraits. And Mr. P came with some very special and very important guests. He brought both sets of grandparents along for the fun. After this session I saw Mr. P again for his 6 month and 1 year photos. I love getting to see these little ones grow up. I also love getting to see, and capture, the special bond between family members. There are so many reasons to get newborn portraits. They are a great way to remember all those tiny little details about your little one. They also make wonderful keepsakes. And having beloved grandparents included makes these keepsakes even more priceless.

Including Grandparents in Newborn Photos

I know firsthand how important grandparents are. Not only as a grandchild but also as a parent watching my children with their grandparents. Which is why when parents mention wanting to bring grandparents along for newborn portrait sessions like this Charlestown session, I’m always happy to include them. Something bittersweet about this session is that one of Mr. P’s grandmothers has since passed away. This is heartbreaking news. But I know the whole family is happy to have these photos to remember the bond between grandmother and grandson.

Whether you have beloved grandparents, older siblings, aunts, uncles, or a nanny you want to include in your session, I am more than happy to accommodate them. I send parents a questionnaire before any portrait session and this has a space to list anyone who might be coming along for a session. Knowing this ahead of time can help me plan accordingly and make sure there is enough time to get all of the group pictures. Before this Charlestown newborn and family photos session mom let me know who she would be bringing along. This helped me plan our the entire session ahead of time.
