Outdoor Family Photos at Crane Beach in Ipswich MA
How lucky are we to live in this area of Massachusetts? Just a quick drive to the beach, the mountains, the city. What more could you ask for?! Looking at these family portraits I took at Crane Beach in Ipswich MA last summer, I’m extra thankful to live so close to this gorgeous place. I met up with the T family at Crane Beach for some family portraits. This session was a super sweet gift from mama’s mama. How awesome of her mom to want to have these precious memories captured and saved forever?! Mr. S was 10 months old and such a fun and happy baby. With the help of my assistant, and a toy from home, I was able to get some seriously adorable smiles from him.

Before any session I send out a questionnaire to get to know families, and their styles, a bit better. This mama mentioned that they would all be wearing neutral colors. I love how classic and timeless the shades of white and light blue look. They give the photos a nautical feel, while not taking away from the beautiful backdrop.

Crane Beach is a gorgeous setting for outdoor family photos. If you haven’t checked it out I highly recommend. And while you’re there, stop at White Farms for ice cream and Clam Box for fried seafood! There’s nothing better than a beach day in New England.
