Salem NH Baby Photos :: 3 Month Old Miss M
This sweet family came to my studio from Salem NH for Miss M’s 3 month old baby photos. It was my first time meeting and photographing them, but it definitely was not my last. Miss M was back in my studio for her 7 month sitter session, her 1 year cake smash, her 2 year portraits, AND numerous mini sessions in between. And I was super excited to get to photograph her baby sister’s newborn photos just a few months ago. Getting the chance to watch little ones like Miss M grow up is one of the highlights of my career by far.
Since Miss M didn’t have newborn photos taken, her 3 month photos were the first in her milestone package. And I think these portraits are a great example of how much fun the 3-4 month milestone can be. For any parent who is worried about missing out on those precious newborn photos, worry no more. The truth of the matter is, every age is worthy of being documented and celebrated. See more of the 3-4 month portrait milestone here.
Styling Inspiration from these Salem NH Baby Photos
For Miss M’s portraits the color palette was all about pink, white, and purple. I love how this ruffled pink dress looks as she lays surrounded by flowers. She looks like a little fairy princess! But there is also a beautiful simplicity in the portraits of Miss M in a plain white onesie laying on the dark purple fur. This gives the best of both worlds.
I have a large assortment of baby clothes and accessories for clients to use during their sessions. But for anyone who wants something special for their photos (or just some adorable clothing for their little ones) I’m really loving Jamie Kay and Bella Bliss lately for the sweetest little outfits.
Creating A Unique Wall Gallery
I love a wall gallery. Whether it’s a sprawling gallery that covers a whole wall, or a small collection of pieces above a bed. Framed artwork using matching frames can create a modern and cohesive look. Or you can create a unique and quirkier look using mismatched antique frames. Another way to think outside of the box when it comes to creating a wall gallery is by using different sized and shaped canvases. This is especially a great idea if you have some vertical and some horizontal portraits that you’re looking to incorporate. Below is an example of a smaller canvas wall gallery using both vertical rectangle and square canvases.
A wall gallery like this one is a great option for these milestone portrait sessions. Not only are these canvases beautiful. But as Miss M grows, her parents can move these photos into her bedroom to make room for more recent milestones. Or they can incorporate all of the milestones into one large wall gallery.
