Peabody Maternity Photos :: Baby #2

This mama, daddy, and big brother came to my studio from Peabody for mama’s maternity photos. I had met them a few times before, including for mama’s first maternity session, big bro’s newborn photos, and his one year cake smash photos. I love getting the chance to see these families that I call “my families” expand and grow over the years. It is definitely one of the greatest aspects of my job as a baby, child, and family photographer. Maternity sessions are some of my favorite sessions since they are full of joy and excitement. Plus, how gorgeous is this mama?! You can see baby #2’s newborn photos here!

This plaid shawl is one that she wore during her first maternity session, and I love that we were able to use it again for these photos. And how amazingly do daddy and big brother match the shawl in this first family portrait? The pops of red add the absolute perfect pop of color.

Then mama changed into a sheer, lacy white maternity gown for more of a glam look. Maternity gowns are one of my absolute favorite things to buy. And I have a whole wardrobe rack full of them for clients to use during their sessions. My team and I were just as surprised as mama was when daddy got down on one knee to pop the question! Talk about the sweetest surprise ever. And I am not even remotely ashamed to admit that I shed a tear or two. How special is it that these parents (and their boys) have photos of this amazing moment? It gives me chills! Thank you, mama and daddy, for letting me be a part of this incredible experience!
