Boston’s North Shore Newborn Baby Photography :: Miss N
Miss N came to visit my North Shore Boston studio for her newborn baby photography session. And she was nice enough to bring along her big brother for the fun. It was my first time meeting Miss N but it was not my first time meeting her big brother. I photographed him at six months and again at one year. He also came to both an Easter mini session and a Christmas mini session. I love getting to see little ones over and over again. And this won’t be my last time seeing Miss N, either. She’ll be coming back to the studio very soon for her six month photos, and then again for her first birthday!
Miss N was close to ten pounds and has some of the best cheeks I’ve ever seen! The close up shot of her nose, lips and cheeks is one I definitely cannot get enough of.

Choosing feminine colors for this North Shore Newborn Baby Photography Session
For this little princess, the main colors used were pink, lilac and ivory. These are feminine and pretty color choices that I love. In this case, texture was used to create interest and variety in the different photos. Everything from how a blanket is draped across a sleeping baby, to different textures next to each other can create interest. A great way to add a little variety to photos is accessories. I have a ton of headbands in my studio that can be used for photos. They add just the right amount of glitz and glam.

Choosing Prints and Products
After your newborn session, it’s time to choose your prints and products. I know how overwhelming this time can be for new parents, so I try and make the entire process as easy as possible. Thankfully when it comes to prints and products there is an option for everyone and there’s no such thing as a wrong choice. You can read more about the options in this blog post: What To Do With Your Photos.
If you’re interested in wall art, but not sure what size or product you’re looking for, I can help. I can create a custom wall art mock-up using your photos on your own walls. How is this possible? Thanks to the magic of technology! You just send me a photo of the wall you’re looking to decorate and I can digitally add your photos. Whether you’re looking for framed artwork or canvases, a single portrait or a gallery. Let me help make this as easy and stress-free as possible for you!
