Mr. A’s Arctic Snow Themed Cake Smash :: Boston MA Photographer

This was my third time photographing this family from Boston MA. I first photographed mama’s outdoor fall themed maternity session. Then they were back in my studio for Mr. A’s six month photos. And then the big celebration happened for his first birthday. We started off with some family and sibling photos. Big brother Mr. S was so great during this session. He was just about 4 years old and gave me such great smiles! I always try to grab a solo photo of older siblings during these sessions, in part to capture them at whatever age they are. But also as a way to make them feel included. I loved the sweaters mom had for the boys. The fair isle screamed winter, and the foxes were beyond adorable. After this, it was time for Mr. A’s arctic winter and snow themed cake smash session!

This winter set design was one of my favorites. Sparkling snowflakes, piles of cotton snow, pine trees. And of course the sweetest little penguin and polar bear cake topper. And Mr. A’s adorable knit outfit was the perfect winter outfit for this cake smash. I love that it added a little coziness to the white and silver snow filled set.
