Mom-to-be K’s Outdoor Pregnancy Portraits :: Waltham Maternity Photographer

I met up with this beautiful mama and daddy-to-be from Waltham for some outdoor maternity photos. Maternity portrait sessions are always some of my favorite. And when these pregnancy portrait sessions take place in the beautiful outdoors–it’s even better! I have a large selection of maternity gowns that clients are more than welcome to use during their session. Whether that means in my studio or outdoors. Prior to any session I send clients a styling questionnaire. This questionnaire is super helpful before any maternity session. But when it comes to outdoor sessions it’s so important to have an idea ahead of time about what to bring. In my studio I have a selection of maternity gowns and accessories to use. But when we’re on location, I only have what I pack ahead of time.

Of course the good thing about outdoor sessions is that less can definitely be more when it comes to props. I love the variety in this session–the bright green of the grass, the muted colors of the flowers and sky. The stunning maternity gowns only help to highlight how beautiful this mama is!
