A few times a year I offer seasonal mini sessions. These change a bit year to year in terms of when I offer them and what themes or holidays they include. In the past I have offered various different spring and Easter sessions. Sometimes they’re in studio, sometimes outside. This year I will be offering in-studio sessions before Easter. These can absolutely have Easter vibes to them, but they do not have to. I can customize these to fit a general spring look, or Easter. But either way here are some ideas of what to wear for Easter and spring photos! I’ve included some looks from previous Easter sessions I have photographed, as well as some links to outfits and clothing pieces I would love to see in my studio this year!

Bunnies Are Perfect For Easter Photos

I don’t think I’m alone when I say that when I think Easter, I think bunnies! And thankfully there are so many really adorable clothing options with bunnies. Some options are more formal, while some stay on the casual and cozy side. Pastels and neutrals are both an option. I will say it’s easier to find cute bunny options for girls, but there are still some sweet options for boys, too!

Carrots Are a Fun Option for Easter Photos

I am really, really loving how many carrot themed clothing options there are this year! Want something fun, whimsical, and unique for your kiddo to wear for their Easter photos? I definitely think carrots are the way to go. I’ve found some casual options and some slightly more formal options, too.

Chambray shorts with embroidered carrots? Yes please.

This rainbow vegetable dress is more springtime garden vibes, but absolutely works for Easter!

Spring Pastels and Neutrals for Easter

Like I said, these in-studio sessions definitely do not have to be Easter. If you want to keep to a more generic spring look for your portraits, here are some great ideas of neutral and pastel options to wear for spring and Easter photos. Since this year I am offering in-studio Spring/Easter mini sessions, it’s up to you how much Easter influence there is. You can stick with spring vibes if that’s what you prefer! When deciding what to wear for these indoor spring and Easter photos, anything goes!
