Mr. L’s 7 Month Old Baby Photo Portraits in Massachusetts
Baby boy L was in my Massachusetts studio for his seven month old baby photo portraits. With him he brought Mom and Dad, his puppy named Teddy and his two older siblings. His older siblings are a set of twins I’ve been able to photograph since they were infants. They are really not too much older than L himself! As this trio gets older, they are sure to be confused for triplets. What a very cool and special bond these siblings have.
Since this session, this sweet family has added baby #4 to the family! Getting the chance to photograph all four of these sweet kids throughout their first year of life (and beyond!) is definitely something I am super grateful for.
Details From This Baby Photo Portrait Session
This very first black and white image is a special one. When his Mom and Dad got married, Teddy was at the wedding. For one of their professional photos, Teddy is licking Dad! Just by chance we happened to get a similar shot of the twins when they were 10 months old, with Teddy licking a baby! So, we knew we had to capture at least one of Teddy doing the same to baby boy L. And he did. He SURE did. And it is hilarious!
This milestone session is a sitter session. These sessions are some that I really, really love. They’re typically between 6-8 months, when baby is able to sit on their own, but before they’re too mobile. This means I am able to get a variety of shots of baby sitting in or on props, like Mr. L in this wooden bowl. Plus, this age is just such a fun one. Personalities are able to shine through in the pictures. Read more about these sessions here: What is a Sitter Session?

Creating a Wall Gallery at Home
After your baby’s portrait session, it’s time to choose what prints and products you will love. Whether that means choosing a custom album as a gift for family members, or wall art to display in your home, or any of the other options. You can read more about each option in this blog post: What To Do With Your Photos.
When it comes to wall art, there are more decisions to be made. Do you want just a single portrait, or a wall gallery? What sizes work best in your space? Do you prefer canvases or framed artwork? While I can’t tell you what you prefer, I can help you decide what works best in your space. I can create a custom wall art mock-up using a photo of your wall. I digitally add your portraits as either canvases or framed artwork so that you can better envision how your artwork will look in your home. This is especially helpful with galleries, but I’m able to make them with a single portrait as well.
