I met this stunning Wakefield family during one of my fall mini photography session marathon days, back in 2013. If you’re just landing on my blog, I’ll catch you up to speed: I had twin baby girls in 2013 and they rocked my world. Blogging went a little to the wayside! But I am doing my best to catch up. I absolutely love looking back at these photos though. There is nothing like fall in New England. I love the autumn colors and I love what this family has done for the styling of their outfits. And of course, I love the smiling, adorable baby boy!
Outdoor Fall Portraits In New England
I don’t know about you, but when I think of fall I think of crisp air, changing leaves, and pumpkin spice. I also think of outdoor family portraits. Because fall in New England is the absolute most beautiful time of year. And for those of us in the Wakefield area, that also means it’s the best time for outdoor family photography sessions. For one thing, the backdrop is stunning–nature really does all the work for that one! But also the temperatures are getting cooler, the sun is still shining but not as bright. And the humidity has gone way down. This means it is also way more comfortable outside, especially for little ones who might not be as great at dealing with heat and humidity. And as an added bonus, taking family photos in the fall means you’ll have your photos in time for holiday cards, while still making sure they’re up to date.
