Wakefield Pictures for Newborns :: Miss I
This sweet girl came to visit my studio with her mama and daddy for her Wakefield newborn pictures. She looked so cozy in her mama’s arms, and she got a soft kiss from daddy. One of my favorite things about being a newborn photographer is getting to capture the love of a brand new family. I tend to begin most newborn sessions with family photos. This gets everyone comfortable. Baby has a chance to fall fully asleep before we start posing them. And mom and dad get comfortable with the studio, my assistant, and myself. Making sure that everyone is comfortable is always very important to me. Comfort and safety is a big part of being a newborn photographer. About this Wakefield Newborn Photo Session
For this Wakefield newborn photo session, the main color we used was purple (a current obsession of mine I must admit). I love being able to use this great purple flower arbor for newborn sessions. It is the perfect blend of rustic, nature, and a little whimsy. Miss I looks like a little fairy napping underneath it. The blanket she is sleeping on was one especially made for her that the family wanted me to incorporate. A touch of whimsy and magic is perfect for a newborn session. New life is magical, after all!
When it comes to props and accessories for Wakefield-area newborn photos, I have a ton. Like, I might have a bit of an obsession with buying new ones. But this means that I have a ton of swaddles, blankets, headbands, and more for you to use during your session. Sometimes parents come with meaningful props and accessories, and I am always up for the challenge of adding them into the shoot.
