Starting off with the first photo up above. This is a recreated shot from their wedding. I really, really love when clients have these kinds of requests during their sessions. The fact that they will have this pose to commemorate so many different milestones is so special. And it’s such an perfect and easy thing to make into a beautiful tradition.

This session was super classic and simple when it came to styling. Whether it was a more casual look with mom in a black top and black pants. The more glamorous sheer white lace (and I love how that looks with the white background–so ethereal). Or the fun pop of cheetah print. No matter what, these photos were kept gorgeously simple and classic. And of course, making those maternity portraits black and white just added to the timeless nature of them!
