Including Hydrangeas in Newborn Photos for Miss B :: Billerica MA Photographer

I am absolutely a hydrangea lover (is there anyone who isn’t?!) so this newborn session was extra fun. If you’ve been around my blog for any amount of time you’ve probably seen me talk about just how much I adore using blue for baby girl newborn portraits. I think that it is such a beautiful, soft color. And I am definitely here for using it for girls. So when this little lady’s parents mentioned wanting to include shades of light blue in her newborn photos I said yes please. And when they mentioned bringing hydrangeas to include in their newborn photos I was extra excited.
I had previously photographed both of Miss B’s older sisters, Miss R and Miss M. One thing that this family does that I really love, is create connections between the different sessions. Both the photo of Miss B in the little bear hat with the white background, and the one of her holding the little stuffed teddy bear with the blue background are ones that are similar to past photos taken of her sisters. Each girl had her own color but similar bear hats and poses. I really love this idea, and I am always willing to help parents create this type of cohesion. It’s one of the reasons I love getting to photograph numerous children in the same family. Keep scrolling to see these photos, and the beautiful newborn photos with hydrangeas down below!
