Classic Newborn Portraits for Mr. R :: Malden MA Photographer
Getting to celebrate new arrivals is so much fun. In this case, it was the second baby for this new family of four. All of them came to my studio from nearby Malden for Mr. R’s newborn portraits. We started off the session with some family photos. I almost always start off this way. The main reason is because it helps everyone get comfortable and relaxed in the studio. This can be especially helpful when it comes to older siblings who have stranger danger. They can see their parents relaxed and comfortable (and smiling) around me, which can help them do the same. Once big brother was a little more comfy, we moved onto sibling photos. And these sibling photos are some absolute great ones!
Once we were done with the family and sibling photos, it was all about Mr. R. The styling for these Malden newborn portraits was very classic, timeless, and handsome. Shades of blue were the primary color palette, with some whites and grays thrown in for good measure. There is just something about blue plaid for baby boy newborn photos. Mr. R was sweet and sleepy which allowed me to pose him in different ways and in different props. Which do you prefer, bed or bowl? I can never choose!
