6 Month Old Twins Baby Photos :: Wellesley MA Photographer

As a twin mama it’s always a little extra special for me to have twins in my studio. I first photographed these twins for their newborn portraits. And then I had them back in my studio from nearby Wellesley for their six month baby photos. They were back after this for 1 year pictures, too. I loved getting to watch this duo of little ladies grow over their first year. My own twin girls are 10 this month, so looking at these photos makes me nostalgic for my own twin babies!

I had previously photographed big sis Miss K and big bro Mr. A for their milestone baby photos. Both of these included a six month sitter session. Six month sessions are always so much fun for so many reasons. Baby is at an age where they are more interactive, smiling more readily, able to look at the camera. Plus they’re typically able to sit up on their own (hence the name sitter session). For this family there’s an added reason for six month photos. A family tradition, in portrait form! Down below you can see a shot of each twin (plus one of them together), on their belly, head under a blanket, holding a rattle. I captured that same exact pose for each older sibling. And it’s not just a tradition for these 4 siblings but one that existed in their family before them. I love when I get to help traditions carry on!
