Mr. B’s Fun Themed Newborn Photos :: Boston MA Photographer

This sweet family came to my studio from the Boston area to celebrate Mr. B’s arrival. Mom wasn’t a big fan of the naked baby shots, which meant using lots of props and swaddles. I send out questionnaires before any session, which asks questions about colors, props, must haves, and so on. This is a great way to find out things like this, and I can plan accordingly. I never want clients to have photos that they don’t absolutely love! Mom and dad brought along some of the props and swaddles themselves, the rest were ones that I have in the studio. Some special personalized props included a boxing set up. Mom had a rough delivery with Mr. B, which made the boxer themed newborn photos especially fitting.

Another set that mom and dad brought along was the sweetest little chocolate chip cookie swaddle and matching hat! This set was beyond adorable. It’s always fun when someone comes to my studio with a prop or accessory that I’ve never seen before. And I could be wrong, but I think this was my first cookie themed newborn photo. Between the boxer themed newborn photos and the cookie themed, this session was anything but boring! For the rest of the photos we went super classic with shades of blue and gray. I love that this meant mom and dad had a fantastic variety of photos in their gallery!
