Mr. J’s Simple Boho Cake Smash :: Amesbury Photographer
Fist birthdays are something to celebrate. And what better way to celebrate than with a photoshoot? Mr. J and his family came to my studio from nearby Amesbury to celebrate this big milestone with some family, baby, and cake smash photos. I had previously photographed Mr. J for his newborn photos. Previously, I photographed his big sister, Miss A, for her newborn and cake smash photos. I love getting the chance to catch up with clients!
For this session, sibling shots and solo portraits of Mr. J were the primary focus. But mom also mentioned in her pre-session questionnaire wanting family photos, and some photos of each parent with Mr. J. The great thing about these pre-session questionnaires is that I am able to plan accordingly. Knowing what the priorities and must have photos are is super helpful!
Simple Boho Birthday Photo Ideas
For big sister’s cake smash, it was all about soft florals and boho touches. For Mr. J, we kept the boho feel but made it even more simple and clean. I absolutely love how it came out! My rustic white wooden backdrop, white balloons, and Mr. J’s white collared onesie all gave a very monochromatic look. The simple greenery and barely frosted naked cake added just the right bohemian touch to the cake smash. This Amesbury cake smash is a great option for simple, boho ideas for boys.
