A Pink and Purple Cake Smash for Miss H :: Chelsea MA Photographer
This super sweet pink and purple cake smash celebrating Miss H’s first birthday was so much fun. We decorated the space with pink and purple balloons hovering over the floor. Some matching tissue paper flowers added texture and some whimsy. My beloved wooden letters spelling out O-N-E helped set the stage. But the main focus was definitely on Miss H in her tutu and her adorable unicorn cake! I love having fun for cake smash sessions and what says fun more than a unicorn? Miss H even had an adorable shirt to match her unicorn cake. Love it!
We started off the session with some family and solo portraits. I had previously photographed this family of three two times before this session. The first time was shortly after Miss H was born, back when everything was still shut down due to Covid. I drove to their home and met them while social distancing as part of my Front Steps Project. Finally, I had them in my studio for Miss H’s 3 month photos. I am so happy that I was able to help this family celebrate another milestone with these one year and cake smash photos!
