Baby C’s Newborn and Family Photos with Siblings :: Reading MA Photographer
I have been photographing these siblings since big brother Mr. R was a newborn back in 2014! It’s hard to believe it’s been that long!! Over the years I have photographed these kiddos as newborns, as toddlers, in full sessions and mini sessions. I am always extremely thankful when families make the decision to come back to me. And this family is no exception! You can see back when this family was a family of three with just big bro in his 2 year photos. How what a difference a few years makes! For this session, it was a focus on Mr. C as a newborn, but we also made sure to get plenty of sibling and family photos as well. And I love how all of the photos came out–especially the sibling ones.
Big siblings were 6, 4, and 2 at the time of this session. With four kiddos that’s a lot to keep happy. But they really rocked all the photos and I am so happy with them!

Choosing a Color Scheme for Baby and Family Portraits
One of the things I love about this newborn and family photos session is how cohesive the color scheme turned out. Both sisters are wearing matching light gray dresses which makes their cohesion an instant win. Mom is in a beautiful taupe color which is a perfect neutral and coordinates well. And dad’s pants match it very closely as well. Big brother’s white shirt is a nice little pop to create some variety. And I love that it matches the white collar accents on the dresses. And then dad’s shirt, and big bro’s pants match the blue of Mr. C’s swaddle. This is perfect family photo styling!
But it’s not just for the family photos portion of this newborn and family session. The entire session has a really great cohesion. Whether Mr. C is in the dark blue from the family photos, or in a different color for his solo portraits there is a definite color scheme to the session. I love the lighter blue and taupe/beige he’s in for his solo portraits and how they create a variety to the session as a whole, but it all goes together seamlessly.
