Miss C’s 6 Month Baby Photos :: Salem NH Photographer
When Miss C and her family came to my studio from nearby Salem NH for her 6 month baby photos, it was so much fun. Partly because Miss C was such a fun and happy baby. But also because it meant catching up with this sweet family! I had photographed Miss C’s big sister, Miss M, multiple times over her first year of life. And I had also photographed Miss C for her newborn photos. Getting the chance to catch up with families and watch them grow is one of my favorite things about being a photographer.
At 6-9 months old, babies are typically sitting up easily and safely on their own. Which is why these milestone photos have become known as “sitter sessions”. It’s less about the actual age and more about that milestone. These photos are always a ton of fun! Recreating Photos from Older Siblings Portrait Sessions
Another super fun thing about this session is that we were able to do so many throwbacks to Miss M’s 7 month photos. many of the outfits and props included in this session were also used when Miss M had her “sitter session” photos taken. Including the wooden plane which was one of my favorite photos from Miss M’s session. Daddy is a pilot which makes the inclusion of the plane extra special! The red and white checkered outfit is one that Miss M wore during her session, too. I love that these parents wanted to have these little connections in their daughters’ portraits.
