Mr. J’s Outdoor Where The Wild Things Are Inspired Cake Smash :: Chelsea MA Photographer

I met up with Mr. J and his parents for an outdoor cake smash session with a fun theme: Where the Wild Things Are! I had previously photographed Mr. J for his newborn photos which you can see here: Chelsea Newborn Photos. Getting the chance to catch up with clients and their little ones after a whole year is so much fun. It’s crazy how much changes in a year!

I made sure to get some family portraits and some non-themed photos to start. But then it was all about that “wild one” theme! I have photographed Where the Wild Things Are cake smash sessions in the past, and it’s always such a fun theme. For this one it was a more subtle version. There was definitely an emphasis on the “wild” side, being out in a wooded area. Some pinecones scattered around my little teepee and some glowing lanterns added to the feel. And Mr. J in his Max-inspired crown was picture perfect! I love crafting themes for cake smash sessions so much.
