Miss P’s Newborn Pictures :: Boston Newborn Photographer
Miss P and her family came from Boston to my Andover MA studio for her newborn pictures. I love being a Boston area newborn photographer, it is seriously the best job I can imagine. And every time I am trusted enough to capture these wonderful memories and keepsakes for parents I am beyond grateful. For these photos, Miss P’s parents said that the priority was for newborn portraits. But of course as a brand new family of three it was also important to get some family portraits as well. And as an added bonus, Miss P’s grandmother came along as well!
This Boston newborn photo session had so many added details that made it extra special. Not only having Miss P’s grandmother in the studio and in the portraits. But mom and dad also brought along some special pieces of clothing and accessories to include in Miss P’s portraits. I have a large assortment of props, swaddles, and accessories in my studio. And every piece that I have is available for parents to use during their sessions. But there is definitely something extra special about a piece that is brought from home. Including Extended Family in your Newborn Session
I always love when parents bring along THEIR parents for their Boston newborn photo session. I know how special grandparents are. And I also know how special grandchildren are to their grandparents. In this case, having Miss P’s grandmother involved in the session was extra special as she lives in India and was just visiting. I know that she and Miss P will both cherish these portraits. And how stunning does she look in her traditional Indian clothing? The colors are beyond stunning in photos–and they were even more stunning in person. And Miss P’s bold pink swaddle matches perfectly.
Prior to any Boston area newborn photo session I send parents a styling questionnaire. This helps me to prepare for props, accessories, and to get an idea of what parents would like for their portraits. For Miss P’s newborn portrait session, her parents mentioned wanting the session to be vibrant. They brought along more traditional clothing for Miss P to be photographed with. And the teals, greens and reds were beyond beautiful. Getting the chance to capture these wonderful keepsakes, while also honoring traditions and cultures, is so special for me.
