Miss P’s Newborn Photos :: Topsfield Newborn Photographer
Sweet Miss P and her parents from Topsfield were in my studio back when she was brand new for her newborn photos. Miss P’s mama is a floral designer and Miss P has a beautiful floral name. So it’s not very surprising that one of their must have photos incorporated some floral props. Prior to a session I always ask parents about their preferred color schemes and any props or accessories they love. This helps me get an idea of the overall style that a parent has. It also helps me to prepare before a session and to get an idea of the flow of the session. This mama mentioned loving both rustic and vintage styles. And the colors she mentioned were blush, emeralds, and nudes. You can see those blush and nude colors in the photos included in this blog. I also think it’s easy to see the subtle rustic and vintage vibes.
When it came to poses this mama wanted to see in their session, she specifically mentioned a relaxed family photos and some photos of daddy and his daughter. I love getting to capture family photos, and I know this whole Topsfield family will cherish these family and newborn photos. Choosing–and Incorporating–the Perfect Baby Name
I remember thinking of names when I was pregnant with my twins. The idea of coming up with the perfect names for these two little babies was so daunting. I had a family name that I had always loved and wanted for one of the girls. But finding a name that would work well with her twin sister, while also giving each baby their own identity, was no easy task. And having to name two babies at once is a challenge. But I know even naming one baby can be a struggle. Over the years I have had babies come in with the reigning most popular names. And I’ve had babies come in with unique and one of a kind names. Sometimes I like to ask parents about their name choice. And often there is a story, a memory, or just a sweet feeling attached to their child’s chosen moniker. Sometimes those parents even incorporate their baby’s name into their photos like in these Topsfield Newborn photos.
I also hear so often about how hard it was to come up with the “right” baby name. Did you know that there are people out there who actually can help you name your baby? In these days with social media, it’s easy to connect with other people. And some of those people are name enthusiasts. Whether you’re looking for a name consultant or just someone who is a self-described name nerd, Instagram is a great place to get baby name inspiration. One of my assistants is a “name nerd” who has an Instagram called The Naming Tree where she posts about popular, unique, and themed baby names.
