Mr. J’s New Baby Photos :: Andover Newborn Photography Studio
Is there anything sweeter than a newborn baby? Not much that I can think of. This little man came to my Andover MA Photography studio for his new baby photos. And he is just absolutely picture perfect. There is something so simple about this newborn photo session and I absolutely love it. Mr. J was sleepy enough that I was able to take photos unswaddled. This was a mini session which means there is less time scheduled. I am still able to capture stunning photos of baby. But there is less time to try all the poses and accessories. Over my years as a newborn photographer I have picked up a ton of tricks when it comes to getting baby to sleep soundly. This is definitely helpful during Andover newborn photo sessions!

About These Andover Newborn Portraits
Since this Andover newborn photography session was a mini session, pre-planning is super important. I send out a questionnaire before any session to help plan for styling and most wished for poses. Since a mini session is less than half of the time of a full session, I want to make sure that I am capturing the poses and photos that are most desired first. In this case, Mr. J’s mama specifically mentioned in her pre-session questionnaire the sweet nest bowl. This is a great option for newborn photos. Not only does baby fit snuggly inside. But it also is a great option for wall art since it goes with most home decoration styles. I especially love the dark wood of the nest against the rustic white floor. Add in a pop of blue by way of bonnet and wrap, and it’s perfection. Of course, the shots of Mr. J laying with his tushy in the air is also a timeless, classic newborn photo. This Andover new baby photo session is a great example of classic, timeless newborn portraits.
