Mr. H’s 3 Month Old Baby Photos :: Boston MA
Sweet Mr. H and his mama came to my studio from Boston MA for his baby 3 month old baby photos. And I was so, so happy to meet this little man for his baby photos. I had photographed mama before with Little H’s big brother, Big H. I’ve photographed these cute brothers a few more times over the years. Whether it’s a Valentine’s Day mini session, or Christmas photos, I can always count on this little guy and his big bro being in my studio for the seasonal mini sessions. And seeing these two little men is definitely something to look forward to!
The 3 month old baby milestone is such a fun one to photograph. Partway between newborn and the ever-popular sitter session, at three months old little one’s have so much personality. If you doubt how much personality a baby can have at three months, just keep scrolling! They interact much more than a newborn will, and my assistant and I are able to coax smiles and giggles. But at three months, there’s less mobility which means I am still able to get some poses reminiscent of a newborn session. The pose down below of mom holding Mr. H while laying on the white fur rug is one I do frequently during newborn sessions. Styling Inspiration From This 3 Month Session
Aside from alertness and posing, there is another big difference between a newborn and a three month session. And that is the styling. While during a newborn session baby tends to be swaddled or naked, this isn’t always the case at a three month session. While it is definitely doable to have baby in their birthday suit, the swaddle seldom works at three months old. Part of being alert also means being less than happy swaddled, no matter how adorable it looks. This means that parents are able to dress their little one in truly adorable clothing like the one piece Mr. H is wearing here. And don’t even get me started on that hat. There is seriously nothing cuter than a baby in a hat. The styling in this Boston baby portrait session is so perfectly timeless.
