Miss M’s Newborn Photos near Medford MA
Little Miss M and her family from Medford MA stopped by my studio for her newborn photos. And not only did she bring along her parents, but also both of her grandmothers. Getting to include grandmothers in newborn photos is so, so special. I know how important grandparents are to our little ones. Being able to honor and celebrate that connection is something that I am always happy to do. Whether you want to include grandparents, older siblings, aunts, family pets, nannies, all are welcome during your newborn portrait session!

Props and Accessories in Your New Baby Portraits
Just like with any photo portrait session, I sent Miss M’s parents a styling and priorities questionnaire before her Medford newborn photos. This questionnaire includes everything from who will be present at the session, to must have photos. This is a great way to make sure that everyone is on the same page about what will be included in the session. Some parents want a session that is more about photos of the baby with only a few family photos, or the main goal might to get some really great family photos. Either way, it helps to have a conversation beforehand. For some parents the best part about this questionnaire is to get them thinking about what they want!
This questionnaire also includes styling ideas for your Medford area newborn photos. Some parents love props and accessories, while others aren’t fans. There’s no right or wrong choice, it’s all about personal preferences. I have a large collection of props and accessories, and they are all available for any session. However if I know ahead of time that parents have their heart set on a specific prop or accessory, I can have it ready to go before the session begins. For this session, mom and dad did have a specific accessory in mind for Miss M. They said they wanted: “Baby with angel feathers, perfect for our little angel”. The wings are the perfect accessory for little angel M.
Mom and dad also specifically mentioned loving “bright colors that makes the photos stand out”. I think we succeeded in that!
