Mr. L’s Newborn Portraits in Andover MA
Today we are talking about Mr. L’s Andover Newborn portraits! Mr. L stopped by my studio for some newborn pictures and he totally rocked all of those sweet, sleepy, new baby poses. His session was a newborn mini session. The number one difference between a newborn mini session and a typical, full length newborn portrait session is that with a mini session it’s all about baby! With full length sessions, there’s more time to include parents and siblings in family photos. But since these sessions are shorter, there are some limitations. Simple and Neutral Styling Ideas
One of my favorite things about this Andover newborn photo session is how simple and neutral the styling was. Part of this is because it’s a mini session which means less props and set changes. But part of this is also just a styling decision that Mr. L’s parents and I made. I love getting to use props in my newborn portraits, but this session shows how sometimes simple is perfect.
As far as styling goes, we stuck with shades of blue, white, and gray. Choosing a simple and neutral color scheme like this not only makes for stunning newborn portraits, but timeless ones as well.
