Miss C’s Newborn Pictures :: Andover MA
Sweet Miss C and her parents came to my Andover MA portrait studio for her newborn pictures. And let me tell ya, she absolutely rocked her portrait session. The pose you can see Miss C in above is always a crowd favorite. We photographers have given it the super sophisticated (ha) name of “frog pose”. And as you can see, it is super adorable. However the truth is, it’s not always possible to get this specific pose. It takes an extra sleepy baby who doesn’t mind being handled by my assistant and myself. Sometimes the way a baby is positioned in the womb makes a difference if they will let me put them in this pose or not.
But don’t worry–this pose is totally safe! Our number one priority during newborn pictures is always that baby is safe. If the baby fusses and is not happy, we do not continue with the pose.

Styling Ideas For Newborn Portraits
When it comes to newborn photos, I really love how monochromatic color palettes look. In this case, we kept the color scheme to shades of white and cream with pops of pink. Choosing one color to accent neutrals is a great way to keep your Andover area newborn pictures classic and timeless. Another great thing to keep in mind before your portrait session is what are you going to do with your photos afterwards. If you’re planning to use them as wall art in your home, thinking about the styling and color scheme can help to ensure that your portraits will work perfectly in your home.
