Bedford NH 9 Month Baby Photos :: Miss A

Miss A and her family came to my studio from Bedford NH for her 9 month baby photos. I had previously photographed her for her newborn photos, and I had photographed big brother for his three year photos as well. Getting to see how much this little lady had grown since our first session was so much fun. I also loved getting to see Miss A and her big brother together. I think it’s safe to say these two will have such a great bond as they grow older. I’m so glad I was able to capture these precious memories for their parents. Since Miss A was 9 months old during these photos, they are considered a sitter session. These sessions are less about the age of the baby, and more about the milestone. In this case, that means they are able to sit up on their own. This typically happens between 6-9 months. And these sessions are some of my favorites. They are so much fun and definitely not a milestone to overlook. Not only are these little ones able to laugh, smile, and interact. But they’re also able to safely sit up, which gives us more options and variety for poses and props. Plus, they’re not usually too mobile yet which means no chasing them around the studio! Styling Ideas for These Bedford NH Baby Portraits

The styling for these photos was all about soft colors. Light lilac, soft peach, and bubblegum pink all create a gallery that is both varied and yet cohesive. Scrolling through the photos from this session, all of the photos flow seamlessly despite the fact that Miss A is wearing different outfits in many of them.

I do have baby clothes in my studio for little ones to wear during their portraits. But for adorable and timeless baby and children clothing I always recommend Jamie Kay or Hope and Henry. I also have an assortment of props and accessories to choose from. No matter what your styling preferences, I have something for everyone!
