Miss A’s 1 Year and Cake Smash Photos from Bedford NH
Miss A and her family came to my studio from their home in Bedford NH to celebrate her first birthday with 1 year portraits and cake smash photos. This session was a little extra special because not only was it her immediate family, but her grandparents came along for the ride, too! I love when grandparents come to the studio. Grandparents are such an important part of our little ones’ lives. Not only does it mean so much to the grandparents to be included, but your kiddos will love having these photos as they grow up.
Another exciting thing about this Bedford NH one year portrait session is that it was the third milestone I had photographed of Miss A. I had previously photographed her newborn session and again at 9 months old. I love getting to see “my” littles grow up. Another thing I love is getting to see the relationship between siblings grow and change as they grow up. The photos of Miss A and her big brother, Mr. T, are some of my favorites from this session. Butterfly Theme Cake Smash Portraits
When mom told me she wanted to use a butterfly theme for this Bedford NH cake smash session, I was definitely excited. And I am so happy with how these photos came out. The pink, purple, and orange butterflies add just the right amount of color, contrast, and texture to the backdrop. They are also the perfect whimsical touch. Add in Miss M’s pretty princess dress and the adorable giant cupcake cake and this cake smash screams magic.
Cake smash sessions are the perfect time to get colorful and fun. They’re all about celebrating this super special milestone. Whether this means using lots of balloons, props, or fun outfits. This is definitely the time to get creative. Over the years we have had themes that ranged from a certain color scheme, to themes based on books or characters.
