Peabody Newborn Photographer :: Mr. A
Mr. A and his family came to the studio from Peabody for his newborn photos. I had met his mom and dad for mom’s maternity portraits before this. So I guess I met him, too, since he was in mom’s belly! I absolutely loved his mama’s maternity session. Make sure you check it out.
I loved getting to see mom and dad again, and I really loved getting to meet Mr. A. He was so cuddly and cute. But I have to take a second to mention that HAIR! I have since photographed Mr. A for his first birthday photos, his baby brother’s newborn photos, and a few mini sessions. And let me tell you, his hair is still beyond amazing. Keep an eye out for the rest of this sweet family’s sessions up here on the blog.

Details from these Peabody Newborn Photos
Mom and dad had a few props they brought along for these photos to add some sentimental touches. For one thing, dad is a corrections officer. He brought his uniform to change into for a few photos. Over the years I have had police officers, firefighters, and some military parents bring their uniforms. These make for such great portraits! Plus it is a great way to honor this important part of mom’s or dad’s life.
Another sentimental prop they brought along was a blanket with the seal from Haiti to honor dad. Sweet baby A looks so peaceful sleeping under it. I’m sure this photo is another important keepsake for dad and his family.
This session wasn’t just about sentimental props, however. I also got to use a digital backdrop. These backdrops are ones that I use only in post processing. Using a photo from the session, I am able to digitally add baby into one of these backgrounds. In this case, Mr. A is sleeping soundly while the moon and some animals watch on. These are a great way to add a little whimsy to a photo session. If you’re interested in one of these digital backdrops for your newborn session, let me know! These photos also make stunning Gallery Wrap Canvases for your home!
Creating Custom Artwork For Your Home
I really love the digital backdrop used in this session. One of my favorite things about these backdrops is that they’re the perfect way to incorporate a certain theme into a session without having to buy all of the props. This is a really great option if you have a specific theme for your little one’s nursery that you want to incorporate into your session. And what better way to really tie your newborn session into the nursery than by using the portraits to decorate the walls. Not sure what will look best in your room, or what size? I can help by creating a custom wall art mock-up for you. Just send me a photo of your nursery wall and I can digitally add your custom artwork to the wall. You can see how a gallery wrap canvas or custom framed print will look.
