Mr. R and his family came to my studio from nearby Groveland MA for his newborn portraits. And this session was all about Mr. R! Looking at these photos, I cannot get over those chubby cheeks. Seriously, they’re the best. Whether he was staring up at me, or curled up sleeping, this little guy was beyond adorable. There’s nothing better than getting to spend my day hanging out with little dudes like this one.
For some moms and dads, family portraits are almost as important as photos of just their new baby. And if that’s the case, we can absolutely make that work. But for parents who prefer to stay behind the scenes, newborn mini sessions are a great option. About this Groveland MA Newborn Photography Session
As you can see in some of these photos, Mr. R was bright eyed and alert for much of his session. And the truth is, sometimes that happens! My studio is kept at a warm 80+ degrees, the lights are kept dim. We have our favorite white noise machine the Baby Shusher going at all times. To be honest, I’ve had parents fall asleep, that’s how comfortable the studio is kept. And some of my assistants have joked that they would like to take a nap, too. We can shush and rock, swaddle and feed baby all we want. But at the end of the day, baby is boss. And if he wants to stay awake, then we can’t stop him.

Choosing Your Prints and Products
Life with a newborn can be exhausting, trust me, I know. Which is why I try to make every aspect of your newborn session as easy and stress-free as possible. This includes sending a styling and priority questionnaire to be filled out before the session (and oftentimes before the birth!) to make sure we are on the same page. It means taking care of everything during the session so that if you want to sit back and relax the whole time, you are more than welcome to.
It also means helping you after the session to choose your prints and products. I offer both in-studio and virtual viewing and ordering sessions to walk you through all of your photos and all of your options.
