Boston MA Christmas Photography
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year… for family portraits! And every year I offer Christmas mini sessions so that I can fit in as many families as possible at my studio north of Boston. There are still limited Christmas photography mini sessions left available, book yours here.
Every family in today’s post is one that I have photographed before! I love that I get to have “my” families that I see year after year. The first family is one that I see year after year. I’ve taken Miss L’s portraits not just during the holidays, but during other holidays and even celebrating birthdays. She was on the blog before for her 2 year photos!
The first brother and sister pair, and the two sweet sisters are both families I’ve photographed in the past for Christmas mini sessions. And the last family is another one I’ve photographed multiple times, including baby brother’s newborn and first birthday photos.
Christmas Photo Styling Inspiration
When it comes to styling Christmas photos, there are typically two different categories. People either go formal or cozy. And there are definitely good reasons for either of these options. Throughout this blog post you’ll see both comfy cozy pajamas, and shiny sparkly dresses. And these photos are all great examples of how you truly can’t go wrong with either decision. Whether you want to wear matching pajamas, or have your little ones look picture perfect in formalwear, there are plenty of options. Shades of red and green are always popular, and so are neutrals like navy and white. And a little pop of gold and silver are never a bad idea. Keep scrolling through to see more styling inspiration. These ladies got the best of both worlds. They took half of their photos in these beautiful glittery dresses. And then they had a quick costume change into comfy, cozy pajamas.
Matching pajamas are ALWAYS a good idea! These penguin pajamas are adorable and cozy, which are perfect for Holiday photos. And the fact that baby brother is in a lighter gray, solid one piece gives him what we call the “hero outfit”. It draws your eye to him and adds a little contrast and visual interest.
