Andover MA Holiday Photographer
Holiday photos are iconic. The colors, the coziness, and the happiness of the season are the perfect excuses for family portraits. And just in case you need an extra incentive, it’s also the perfect time for holiday card photos! It’s still feeling pretty much like summer out there as I write this, but in our Andover, MA studio we are already getting into the holiday spirit. The holiday sets and props are starting to make an appearance, and we are in full-blown mini session booking mode. It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Every year the holiday mini sessions book up fast, so make sure you grab one of the remaining spots if you want to take advantage of this offer.
Mini sessions aren’t the ideal choice for everyone, so make sure you read this post that goes into a little more detail about what a mini session includes. For some families, a full session is a better option. Whether you want more variety than we can get in 15 minutes, or maybe your little ones take a bit more time to settle down or warm up to others. Either way, there are options for everyone!
Once you’ve decided that a mini session is the right choice for your family, book your holiday mini session here!
Styling Ideas for Holiday Photo Mini Sessions
I don’t know about you, but when I think about Christmas one of the first things I think about is Christmas pajamas! And words cannot describe how much I love the fact that not one but two families came for their Christmas photo mini sessions in the same Hanna Andersson pajamas!
But if pajamas aren’t your style, there are plenty of other options. I love the sweater dress, tights, and Mary Janes look that Miss R is wearing down below. Red overalls were also a hit last year. But one of my all time favorites has got to be the handsome little man all the way at the bottom of this post. The bowtie, the hat, the suspenders. Everything about it is picture perfect. And he looks pretty cute in the Santa hat, too!

We talk about the magic of Christmas, so it’s only fitting that I add a little magic to some of these photos! Whether it’s a little fairy dust, or some twinkling lights in the trees, I love getting to put an extra shine on Christmas portraits. After all, is there a better time of year for magic?
I love this family’s matching pajamas! This wasn’t my first year photographing them during these Christmas mini sessions. I had seen them the year before (when big sis was an only child still!) and they rocked their matching holiday outfits then, too. Check it out in this Holiday mini session blog post.
After Your Holiday Photo Session
After your photos, there are some decisions to make. Do you want to display your photos in a custom album or on your wall? Are these products for yourself or for gifts? These questions can seem a little daunting, but my team and I are here to help. Wall art tends to be pretty overwhelming since it can seem difficult to decide which photos and which sizes work in your space. Should you go with framed artwork or canvases? There are great things about both, so there aren’t really wrong answers. But we can help make sure that you make the one that works best for you. We can even create mock-ups of your walls to help you visualize what your artwork will look like!
