Merrimack Valley Photographer :: Baby Boy C
Mr. C and his parents came to visit my studio from the Merrimack Valley for his newborn photos and this sweet boy was a great little model. We started off the session with some family portraits. Mr. C got some kisses from both mama and daddy. And I love this black and white shot of Mr. C cradled in his daddy’s hands. It’s always crazy to look back over the years and remember just how tiny these little ones are. Photos like these are definitely something you will treasure for years.
Once we were done with the family portraits, the focus turned to Mr. C! He stayed nice and sleepy which let me get a few different set ups. The naked baby shots tend to be a big hit, and this shot of him on the gray blanket is a great example of why.

Using Props in these Merrimack Valley Newborn Photos
Anyone who steps into the studio can tell that I love a good prop! In the studio I have everything from flower wreaths, to wooden bowls, to these vintage suitcases. I love how this old fashioned aviator knit hat works with these suitcases to give a great travel vibe to the photos, while keeping everything vintage and classic.
I love utilizing different textures in photos. This is a great way to add variety. The dark blue fur not only contrasts with his skin tone, but also gives a different feel than the blankets in other photos.
I have a huge collection of props in my studio. Like, seriously a huge collection. Some might even say I have a bit of an obsession with them. Either way, they are there for clients to use. Same with all of the newborn accessories that I have. For handmade goods and accessories, I always look at Etsy first.

Creating A Wall Gallery With Your Newborn Portraits
Have you ever scrolled through Pinterest or Instagram and seen a picture perfect wall gallery? Maybe it was all framed, or all canvas, or a mix of both. Have you ever seen one and thought “wow I wish I could do that?” Well, you can! And my team and I can help. Using the magic of technology, we can use a photo of your wall to show you how a gallery will look. Want clean lines and evenly spaced products? Or maybe a sprawling gallery? Either way, we can create a custom wall art mock-up for you. The sky is the limit! Or, in this case, the ceiling.
