Newborn Baby Girl Photography Andover MA :: Baby R
Miss R came to my studio in Andover MA with her parents for her newborn baby photography session. When they got here, Miss R’s dad pointed at this tree stump and asked if we could use it. I had been wanting to use it in a newborn portrait session. for a while, so I was super excited when he asked. As soon as he mentioned it, I sprinted to the prop closet and grabbed my green moss to complete the scene. I have a large assortment of props in the studio depending on the theme of the session. This tree trunk gives a great woodland, whimsical vibe to a photo. I love that this newborn baby girl’s photography session included so many different looks!
Miss R was a rockstar when it came to the sleeping baby shots. I started off the session with some family portraits as I usually do. This helps both baby and parents get a little comfortable with the session and the studio. But then it was all about Miss R. Styling For This Baby Girl’s Picture Session
I absolutely love a little baby girl in blue! Pinks and purples are beautiful, but I love getting the chance to incorporate blue into a newborn baby girl’s session. I used various shades and textures of blue blankets, swaddles, and a bonnet to create contrast and visual interest.
We also did incorporate some pink into the session. Miss R was swaddled in bright pink for her family portraits. The bright pink is a great pop of color next to her mom and dad in black shirts.
This Andover newborn baby photography session’s gallery is a great example of how to incorporate a variety of looks into one session. Parents shouldn’t feel as though they are too tied down to one color scheme. In the studio I have a ton of wraps, blankets, accessories, and props. I want to make this experience as easy and stress-free as possible for you! But for any moms and dads that want their own adorable props, I always recommend starting on Etsy!
There’s nothing quite like a newborn baby. They’re sweet and adorable and getting to photograph them is definitely a highlight of my career.
