Miss R’s Sleeping Beauty Baby Photography Session :: Boston MA
Little princess Miss R came to my studio from Boston for her baby photography session. Prior to any session, I send a questionnaire with questions about who will be present during a session, what are some must-have photos, and styling ideas. For this session, mama wanted a Sleeping Beauty set up. I had previously photographed a newborn using sets inspired by three different Disney Princesses. One of those sets was Sleeping Beauty, and Miss R’s mom wanted to do something similar for her little lady’s baby session. Miss R was a bit older than a newborn during her session. But thankfully she cooperated and we were able to get some seriously adorable sleeping shots of this beauty.

Including Siblings In Baby Photo Sessions
I had previously photographed Miss R’s big sister, Miss C, for a fall mini session and her cake smash session. I always love getting the chance to see these once tiny little ones grow up. It’s also always such an incredible feeling when parents come back to me for baby number 2. Knowing that these parents loved their portraits from baby number 1 enough to entrust me to capture these milestone keepsakes again is something I am always so thankful for. I love getting to be a greater Boston baby and child photographer. There is no better job out there. And part of that is because I get to meet such sweet little ones and awesome families.
When parents fill out their questionnaire I specifically ask about who will be present during a session. One of these reasons is so that I can be prepared if older siblings are coming along for the photo fun. When parents ask if they should include older siblings, I always tell them that the decision is up to them. No one knows a child quite like their parent, and some older siblings will just not enjoy the experience. But I always have an assistant with me to help older siblings feel comfortable in the studio. I never say no to older siblings being involved in a baby photography session like this Boston session. Not only do you end up with adorable keepsakes like the portrait below of Miss C looking lovingly at Miss R. But often it is also a great bonding experience for the older sibling.
