Mr. A’s Newborn Portraits :: Cambridge MA Photographer

Mr. A came to my studio from nearby Cambridge MA for his newborn photos. This was such a wonderful newborn portrait session full of outfit changes, props, and the sweetest baby boy. Sessions like these are a great reminder of why I love to be a professional newborn photographer. Before any portrait session I send out a questionnaire to ask parents about any color schemes or styling choices they like. For this little man mama mentioned a few things that I was sure to include in these photos, including whimsical and rustic touches. The number one color choice mama had was teal to match his nursery. I love how the bright teal really pops against the navy blue (keep scrolling to see what I mean!)

Another thing from the questionnaire that I was happy to incorporate into this session was some nautical touches to match little man’s sea turtle/ocean themed nursery (adorable). The subtle nautical set up including a blue netting-like swaddle and some starfish is one of my favorites. This session is a little whimsical, a little rustic, and with the perfect pops of blue, teal and green.
