Photos for New Years Card :: Rowley MA Photographer
When booking my mini sessions, the form gives clients the opportunity to tell me a little bit about what they’re looking for. Since they are mini sessions, some things can’t be changed very much. But I love being able to know if clients are looking for specific poses or if the photos are being used for anything in particular. In this case, this family specifically mentioned not wanting anything too Christmas-y and were instead looking for New Years themed. Which got me thinking about how fantastic an idea New Years Cards are! Whether it’s for religious reasons, or just because there is too much happening around the holidays to get cards out. Either way, waiting until the New Year and ringing it in with cards and well wishes is such a great idea to me. And these photos would be perfect for a New Years card!
One of my sets last year was already more of a winter look than overtly Christmas. Some neutral wrapped presents and a few golden ornaments were really the only thing that screamed Holidays. For this family the session was split between that set and a plain white background with a few sparkly silver props for the photos of 14 month old Miss I. All in all a perfect look for New Years!
